Meet Kelly Gidwani, MPH, MSN, RN
Kelly Gidwani is a California native. She received her bachelor’s degree from Spelman College, and Master’s of Public Health Degree from Emory University’s Rollins School of Public Health. Kelly served in many public health roles including working for Emory University and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention developing programs and evaluating interventions on issues related to HIV/AIDS, infectious diseases, stillbirth, and domestic and sexual violence.
In 2011, Kelly returned to school to pursue a Master’s of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Toledo. She has been a registered nurse for ten years and served as a clinical nurse, nursing supervisor, and Clinical Director.
During her nursing career she also worked for the National Institutes of Health as a clinical research nurse. Kelly is currently completing her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and works for the Food and Drug Administration. Kelly is married and enjoys traveling with her husband and daughter.
